Top Ten Travel Tips!

1) Pack your children's favorite snacks but choose ones that aren't too sugary. Try small crackers, pretzels, and trail mix.

2) Pack small juice boxes so that your children won't become dehydrated but also won't make too much of a mess!

3) Choose your airline seats wisely. There are benefits to different seats so plan ahead! Read through the websites to the left to learn more!

4) If you have an infant, you can usually book a bassinet. Some have told us that they don't like using the bassinet since it was in their face the whole trip. Talk with others who have traveled with infants to find out their take on things and read through the websites on the left.

5) Consider booking the bulwark seats on the airplane. You will have to stow all of your carry-on luggage above your seats for take off and landing but during the flight you'll have a great place for your kids to play!

6) Dress your children in bright colors so that they stand out in the airport, just in case you are separated.

7) A change of planes may not seem like a big deal but when traveling with children it can turn an enjoyable trip into an exasperating one!

8) During take off an landing, try to nurse or feed your baby liquids. It will help with the changes in cabin pressure.

9) Bring a small travel bag for each of your children. Pack it before the flight and then surprise them on the flight with some new inexpensive activities and toys. This way, they will be focused for quite a while and if they do lose any of the new items it won't be a problem.

10) Make sure your children are either dressed warmly for the flight or bring along some warm clothing. It can get cold in the airplane during a long flight!
