There is a new school in the Lausanne-La Côte area. Unlike International schools where the children learn in an all-English environment, the aim of the Bilingual School of Suisse Romande is to allow the children to become truly French-English bilinguals, following the early immersion system. This might appeal to parents who think that living in a foreign country is a great opportunity for the young children to learn a second language in a natural way.
