Reference Guidelines for Writers
Essays and Articles If you are writing an essay or article for Multilingual Living and need to refer to or quote from another person’s work, please be sure to cite the source correctly. Within the body of your paper, give only a brief citation in parentheses consisting of the author's surname, the year of publication, and page numbers, where relevant, unless you are referring to the entire article: (Schmidt, 1989) or (Kim, 1991:75-6).

Research Papers Research papers submitted to Multilingual Living should, if possible, follow the APA style of in-text citation and references. For specific guidelines see the links below.
