Digests synthesize current research, review the literature, describe teaching methods and program models, and offer practical ideas for teachers and others."  To view the digests go to: http://www.cal.org/resources/digest/

Rights and Responsibilities of Educators of Bilingual-Bicultural Children.
Excerpt: "This paper focuses on the right and the responsibility of educators to make a positive difference in the lives of bilingual-bicultural children. I argue that every educator has the right to make a positive difference in children’s lives and also that every educator has the responsibility to make a positive difference in children’s lives. Neither of these claims might seem particularly contentious but taken together they entail major implications for how educators define their roles in the education of children."
